On September 28, 2010, the alternative metal band Mushroomhead released their seventh studio album by Megaforce records, called ''Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children''. The first single from the album is the song, "Come On" which was released on August 16, 2010.

As stated by the band members themselves, in an interview with MTV, the album title is inspired by the late 80's comic book of the same name. According to the band, they wanted the album title to reflect the nature of the songs themselves, and the title came once they incorporated the visual elements of the project.

Now the band is promoting their new album on the tour of the same name, and expects to make several live performances during the remainder of the week.
